J. Tyler Jones

Head of Development

 

J. Tyler Jones began his association with New Fortune as a cast member of Henry V and is deeply honored to be a part of the company working along such talented and dedicated artists. Tyler spent four years working at the Old Globe in the Ticket Office and Development Department. He recently relocated to Los Angeles where, among other things, he teaches part-time with Much Ado About Shakespeare, an organization which works to bring Shakespeare classes to homeschool students throughout Southern California.

 

In addition to New Fortune, Tyler has performed locally with many of San Diego's fine theatres. Favorite local credits include: Baby with the Bathwater (Diversionary), Mud Blue Sky (Moxie), Accomplice: San Diego (La Jolla Playhouse), and Punk Rock (ION). He is also a member of the main stage company at National Comedy Theatre. Tyler will be returning to the San Diego stage in February for Diversionary's Now or Later. He is a proud graduate of the Florida State University School of Theatre.
